The journey into recovery from our battle wounds, wounds received on the community front lines in Canada and the battle front lines far afield. Canadians can do and will do what is needed. Let Honour House carry it’s banner to each province to the front steps of Parlament Hill so that our leaders who we elect, start to involve all Canadians in keeping our people safe. When they are injured let them heal with dignity and respect. Nice job all around to those who have taken the vision and made it reality.

The shelter that this provides to our first responder community in Canada and in B.C. will be challenged into the future with the many who will be using the facility and who will find that there is respite and help for the caregivers. Well done ladies and gentlemen/ well done. Stress and Posttraumatic Stress Woundings amongst the first responders will be another part of this vital outreach. The future is ours to hold. As we look into 2011 and beyond this facility will be utilized beyond the dreams of it’s founders and directors. The many visionary people inside and outside of government and in partnership with the business community show that Canadians and B.C. citizens are the “best in the world”.

I first heard of Trevor Greene on W5 – I cannot express the horror felt that someone could attack another human in such a brutal manner – WE do not realize the dangers our wonderful men/women in the military face each day trying to bring PEACE – Trevor’s story should be shown in schools and prisons and MAYBE some of our kids involved in unlawful activity will see the “LIGHT” and realize how blessed we are to be able to walk freely in Canada, the best country in the world and change their ways.
I cannot imagine the pain/suffering Trevor has endured and give thanks to Debbie for not listening to the so-called “experts” telling her to place him in a home and walk away – how callous are they!! I guess they have never experienced true love!
God give you strength to face each new day – I’m sure a kiss, hug and an “I love you” from your precious little daughter would add sunshine to any day.

P.S. I hope “Honor Houses” will be built wherever required throughout the world where needed for families to be close to their loved ones while recuperating from horrible injuries – I’d rather see them all brought HOME!!

Just saw Peace Warrior for the first time , amazed at the power of the human spirit in both Trevor and Debbie. Had to google to see if the wedding happened and happened it did !!!!
